Letting the pictures do the talking

Today my words will be short and my pictures will be many.  We slept in this morning, headed down to breakfast.  Took a long walk through the city, shopped in a local 7 story mall where we got lost multiple times.  Headed back to the hotel for nap time.  Mercy did NOT want to nap again today. She put up a good fight, but she lost.  I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.  We did a Benadryl test run for the flight home on Friday and it had no affect on her what...so...ever.  So pray for the flight home!!!  We went out for Mexican tonight.  It was strange to be eating Mexican in China, although I'm not sure why, it should be no different then eating Mexican in the US, but either way it still felt weird.  It was yummy though, so I give props to the Chinese for making a kick butt chimichanga.

Here's todays photos, as you can see little Miss Cranky Pants is happier, and she is really starting to connect with us.  That brings so much joy to our hearts, but it has also made her more free and comfortable to be herself.  Most of the time "herself" is sweet as pie, but rub her the wrong way and you get a temper tantrum like a volcano.  Thankfully she's our fourth child so we find nothing but humor in this throw-youself-on-the-floor-and-scream-your-head-off-fit.  Oh, and when you really make her mad she hits you, pulls your hair and rips your glasses off your face.  What can we say other than we have a hot-tempered one here folks, oh yes we do.

Scott saying "No, you need to leave your shoe on."

Someone is not happy about leaving her shoe on.

Getting out of this hotel for a long walk.

This girl loves to give kisses!

Happy eye contact!

Love her!!!!!!

Pucker up

Will NOT keep shoes on!!!

SMOOCH!

I'm flexing my "strong-will" mommy muscle in victory that she is finally asleep.

    1. We were reflecting tonight on just how much she has grown, changed and developed in one weeks time. It's amazing. Just wait until we are home and three siblings have their influence on her...she's going to act like a teenager before her 3rd birthday :) lol
